LCM Terms of Service

Last Updated: 2026

Welcome to LCM (Ledger-Chain-Model). These Terms of Service govern the use of the LCM API, SDK, and related services.

1. Service Description

LCM provides infrastructure for recording and sealing deterministic AI decisions. The system enables users to derive decisions from defined policies, generate cryptographic verification proofs, and store execution records in an immutable ledger.

2. API Access

Access to LCM is provided via API keys. Users are responsible for securing their credentials. Sandbox access is intended for development and experimentation.

3. Execution Logging

LCM records execution metadata to support deterministic replay and verification of automated decision systems.

4. Deterministic Derivation

LCM stores derivation roots and execution identifiers that allow decisions to be reproduced and audited.

5. User Responsibilities

Users must ensure the accuracy and legality of the data and policies submitted to the service.

6. Data Ownership

Users retain ownership of submitted data and policy definitions. LCM stores metadata necessary to verify execution proofs.

7. Experimental Status

LCM may provide experimental or beta features. APIs and specifications may evolve over time.

8. Service Availability

LCM does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

LCM provides infrastructure for recording and verifying decisions but does not make the business decisions itself.

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
